semana santa adventures

hm, hindi talaga ako religious (by popular standards), as a matter of fact, isa ako sa mga pinaka blasphemous (how dya spell that?) na tao. not that i am proud of it, but i have my reasons.

however, kakaiba ang holy week ko this year. ugh. it started at thursday with the visita iglesia. for the past years, nasa province ako for the visita, and its either naiinip ako or hindi ako sumasama. inaaway ko pa magulang ko so that di ako makasama. but this year, my family, along with miggy's parents did the visita here in manila. whats weird was that i was kinda excited to "pray" in those 7 churches. and when we got there, i really did pray (well, i considered what i did praying). it felt even weirder, cuz i.. err, secret. anyway, the feeling was soothing. relaxing.

friday was F.I.N.E. well we went to LUKBAN, supposedly to visit the grotto (for the stations of the cross. pero andaming tao so we ended up dun sa big church. the trip was stressful since kasama sila kaka, miggy and paolo. there were 9 of us in chong's rav4. at dun ako sa pinaka likod na super baba ng seats. ugh. after an hour, di ko na ma-feel ang legs at feet ko. and the trip was 9 hours total with less than an hour break. yung una nung nag stations kami dun sa big church. ung second was lunch at 330. ambilis namin nag lunch cuz freezing dun. we had no idea na less than 10 times ang sunny days sa LUKBAn, to think na yun ang family name namen. anyway, to add stress to the small leg space, everyone kept farting. and chong had the windows locked so ugh ugh ugh. can u imagine? yuck.

di na sila naawa kay paolo who was terribly sick. sumuka pa nga siya eh, considering sanay yun bumiyahe. poor yoda look alike.

anyway, saturday, we went to tagaytay. we left at around 330. paolo's still sick. and there was still no leg space in the ravishing rav4. and everyone still kept on farting. good thing the ride was only 2.5hours. when we got there (6pm), we had merianda from bag of beans. after merienda, we had pizza. and then we had dinner. hmm now that i think of it, we had mais before leaving paranaque and we had mini snacks during the ride. hmm, why the hell am i so thin? err..

ohh, we stayed pala at my ninong's house where his wife's jewish cousin was visiting. at para isabay sa holy week theme, they talked about religion. it was fascinating at first since there was this extensive knowledge exchange from different religions. at the end, it got borring cuz they all pointed to "we should be good" which everyone knows, and should not be stressed.

what was exciting tho, was the topic about faith healers. err, but i dont want to explain why. so jan na lang po. haha!
